Interviewers were less collaborative. They pasted the code, problems here and there in different lines without even mentioning. There was a missing piece and they insisted everything was correct until I proved it was missing. Bad attitudes during interview.

Pros: High growth, albeit at the whim of funding.
Cons: Leadership has a toxic culture of promoting political managers who take credit, deflect blame, micromanage, and drive mass exoduses on teams. There is way too much leadership turnover from one team in particular.

Pros: The company is on a rocket ship and is doing well. Leadership is aligned on what I believe will make the company succeed.
Lots of problems to solve where I personally won't get bored for 1+ year.
Good WLB in my experience for engineering where I never feel like I am being worked too hard, but have enough work to put in a good effort. No pressure from Leadership to work more or on weekends.
Cons: Lack of detail towards operations. Luckily Vanta still has a high bar towards paging, so pages are low, but low severities can be ignored or not diagnosed.
Like any startup, re-orgs are common and business priorities shift frequently.
