Associate QA Engineer Interview Experience - Pleasanton, California

Process

I went through a 6-round interview process with Veeva Systems, including an in-person interview at their office that I had to pay for out-of-pocket.

Throughout the process, communication was frequent, and I felt positive about my performance. Each round seemed to go well, and I was genuinely excited about the opportunity.

However, just 24 hours after the in-person interview, I received a rejection email. It was extremely disheartening, not just because of the outcome, but because of the time, energy, and personal expense I had to invest.

If there were clear doubts about my candidacy, I wish the company had communicated that earlier or covered the travel expenses, especially after such an intensive process.

This experience has made me question the fairness and transparency of Veeva’s hiring practices. I hope in the future they consider the candidate experience more thoughtfully, especially when it involves significant commitments of time and money from applicants.
