- Not uncommon for people to be under-leveled and therefore underpaid.
- Horrible work-life balance: consistent messaging and guilting from leadership that employees should be willing to sacrifice their own mental health because we build moral-driven products.
- Superficial commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Constantly changing priorities: impossible to hit a moving target.
- Messaging from senior leadership that we are all replaceable "if we can't handle the marathon" – no real desire to fix the culture of the company.
Align on priorities/desires for the company and share them consistently with employees.
