Pros: Stability.
Good work-life balance.
Good pay in the area for a software product company.
Cons: Very little growth opportunities.
Mostly lateral movements.
People just go around in circles within the different groups in the company since there are not many opportunities within the company. Also not many product-company-based opportunities within the Reston, VA area, hence people don't leave Verisign but feel "stuck" in their careers.
