Probably that there are some talented people at VeriSign and that the pay is competitive with the marketplace.
The company while I worked there was more of a rollup of various smaller companies.
These groups all referred to themselves by their previous, pre-purchase name.
VeriSign had a hard time integrating the companies and developing a strategy for combining all these units together.
Then they decided to divest the companies purchased, and that created almost two entirely separate units in the company: those being divested and those not.
Good luck. I think the company should be sold to a larger security company.
I posted my resume on VeriSign's online career center and got a phone interview with HR. Then I had an interview with the lead of the group that I intended to join. They then flew to CA for an onsite interview. Four people interviewed me, all of who
Initially, we had a written test which was of aptitude type. Then we had two rounds of F2F interviews. Lastly, we had an HR round. In the F2F interviews, they asked technical questions on DBMS, programming logic, etc.
1 hr phone interview followed by 1 hr in person. The in-person interview was a panel interview with the entire team. It was sort of rapid-fire, with each member on the team asking technical questions. The hiring manager on the team did not ask any
