The salary is very competitive. The total compensation consists of salary, stock options, restrictive shares, bonus, and ESPP. All of which is generous, and the ESPP is the best around. There are some very good people who work for Verisign as well.
This is a very unsatisfactory company to work for from a personal satisfaction point of view. Positive feedback is rare, and the company management has many ways to communicate that you are lucky to work here and that the company could do much better if you left. Very little job satisfaction. Most employees who leave involuntarily take a bit of time to get their heads back straight.
To stop with the personal and hidden agenda and do what's best for the company.
Find and promote the good people, not the ones you have worked for in the past or the ones that play the political game.
Take the time to read a few resumes and employee files.
And stop with all the BS; we are not stupid.
