Call Center Technical Supervisor Interview Experience - United States

Process

I received a call from the recruiter, who said that they would like to schedule some time to talk for about 15 minutes about the role.

They gave me two options, and lucky for me, they were both for the following day in the afternoon, which gave me a little time to prepare.

Since it was only going to be 15 minutes, I thought it would be a job fit/informational style of interview. I was wrong.

It was 3 BI questions. The interview took all 30 minutes and left zero time to ask questions.

I was able to get one question in, which was about the availability for a relocation package, and the recruiter didn't even realize that I am currently living in a different state nor had that information ready at hand.

The first impression of Verizon was not good.

Questions

  1. Tell me about why you would be a good fit to work in a call center.

  2. Tell me how you handled your most recent emergency.

  3. Tell me how you handled a day where you had something come up by surprise and had to rework your schedule.
