Phone screen with recruiter followed by a Skype interview with another recruiter.
The initial screen was great.
It was friendly, asking me a bit about my school curriculum and explaining Verizon as a company.
The second interview was where things went south.
It was a one-sided video interview where they didn't join via webcam, and I did. I think a phone call might have sufficed for this.
After an hour of that interview, I gave my okay for background checks, etc.
The next day, I tried to log in, and my account was deleted in their career portal, which I was using to check on my status.
A simple "we're moving forward with other candidates" goes a long way compared to deleting an account and not even sending an email.
