I applied online via LinkedIn, and the recruiter contacted me in about a month and set up a phone screen with a senior engineer. The phone screen was mostly coding and a few concepts in Java. Based on the feedback, I was invited to their office for a set of 5 interviews.
The interviews started at 9:30 AM and continued until about 2:00 PM, continuously. There was no lunch break.
I didn't like the interview scheduling, as I thought there should have been a lunch hour given. I had done well in 3 interviews, a so-so in the 4th, and I knew I didn't do well in the 5th one. I didn't hear back from the recruiter. I think it's a professional ethic to thank the candidate for their time and get back, even if there is a negative result.
Immutable class in Java, code it.
