Recurring layoffs every year. Upper management changes direction, not always choosing the best technical direction. Increased work hours are constantly expected rather than staffing teams properly. Constantly pushing work to offshore teams.
IT is treated like garbage. Treat your IT employees as if you value them. Culture and values look good on paper—if only they truly practiced what they preach.
After the interview, there was no feedback from HR. Even after asking HR where things went wrong, there was no reply. This was a very bad experience. On the first day, they asked about what you do, and the next day they asked about PostgreSQL.
Phone screening first. They know you don't have experience in something but still ask. The manager is pretty easy-going, though. He seems like a nice guy but needs senior-level people.
