Verizon was an excellent employer. Not only was I responsible for providing my family with the basic necessities of life, but I also formed some of the strongest friendships with co-workers. I miss them very much.
The commute was horrible. And I was transferred often. I would just begin to get to know everyone, and I was transferred to another location.
Continue to show encouragement and positive feedback to your subordinates.
I found that the more my boss appreciated my work ethic, the harder I worked.
