Pros

Normal employee benefits that every company provides.

Cons
  1. Zero work-life balance.
  2. Expect you to work on multiple projects at a time.
  3. Need to be available even late nights.
  4. You end up working for 12 to 14 hours daily.
  5. My last manager was the worst person. The remaining managers are good.
  6. The manager shows a one-man show. He only wants recognition in front of the Onshore team. When leadership visits the Hyderabad office, he only meets with them and takes full credit.
  7. The manager scolds you in meetings in front of the whole team.
  8. The manager does a lot of micromanagement. He does the job of a developer, lead, and architect. I don't know why he is in a manager position.
  9. The manager even asks to work before your last working day.
  10. Zero response from the HR team after you left the company. They appear only in all-hands meetings to read the pulse survey.

Don't think Verizon is a product-based company. Verizon India is just another service-based company to Verizon US. All the development work will be done by vendor employees. You just need to manage them. They are slowly minimizing full-time employees' work. Therefore, they might limit the number of full-time employees.

Advice to Management

Nobody values your suggestions. It's a waste of time to provide them.
