The first interview was a phone call with HR.

For the second interview, I had a 30-minute technical phone interview with the hiring manager. The interview structure was as follows:

• 5 minutes to go over my work experience
• 20 minutes to solve a LeetCode Hard problem
• 5 minutes to ask the manager questions

The manager was not an engaged interviewer and did not seem interested. This makes me think they are conducting these interviews to claim they cannot find the required talent in the US to fulfill their needs. This is especially relevant since the US administration has tightened the H1B visa program further, requiring American companies to provide proof that they were unable to find American employees before hiring foreign talent.
