Excellent company culture and collaborative team at Via
I enjoy working at Via Transportation, an organization that values its employees and strives to make a positive difference in the world. From the challenging and engaging work environment that allows me to work on intricate technical problems and develop solutions that directly impact customers, to the gratifying feeling of seeing how our platforms are being used by our customers to provide comprehensive transit solutions to their communities, I feel proud and inspired by the work we do.
Another aspect of working at Via I appreciate is collaborating with my colleagues. They are a knowledgeable and empathetic group passionate about making a positive difference. The hybrid work environment has allowed me to interact with and learn from my colleagues while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
I am also impressed with the level of employee care and recognition that is demonstrated by Via's leadership. The company understands that employees are people first and offers flexibility in accommodating work-life balance and other situations.
Additionally, Via invests heavily in employee development, offering ample opportunities for internal mobility growth and fostering new skills.
As a global organization, Via operates across multiple time zones. To foster better connectivity among colleagues and teams across the company, I suggest Via continue exploring creative ways to build and maintain employee relationships.
At times, connecting with individuals working on similar problems or who hold valuable knowledge can be challenging, especially when collaboration needs to occur asynchronously or at inconvenient times. To address this issue, Via should continue to invest in travel opportunities and in-person events.
This would foster new connections and collaborations and provide employees with a better understanding of the organization as a whole. Overall, Via can improve its efforts to foster connectivity and collaboration among its employees, and I look forward to seeing how the company will continue to address these challenges moving forward.
