tl;dr: low pay, horribly incompetent. Don't bother.
What a joke this company is.
Apply months before I'm contacted by a recruiter, who schedules me a few weeks out. I ask if there is anyone else I can speak with sooner, since it's been a month or two since my application. Met with a snide response, so I wait until the given date.
I'm called by another recruiter, who is decent and easy to speak to. I don't know why I had to wait this long, but recruiter number two loves my background and just sends me the coding challenge so that I'll have a decision before Thanksgiving. It's pretty simple: just parse log files and give an aggregated output. Way simpler than every other challenge I've even been given, but I don't complain. I complete it the next day (pushing back other assessments and opportunities) and wait.
Three weeks later, I get a call from a random number. Don't know who it is, so I don't answer. It turns out to be the first recruiter again.
Lovely.
Tells me to call back that number as soon as possible. I do. No response. I shoot an email asking what the next steps are and if I can be told over email. No response. Get a call 2 days later from someone else I haven't spoken to before, telling me that the engineer assigned to my project took 2 weeks off and finally got around to it. Said they're going in a "different direction", which makes no sense outside of an auto. gen. email.
I was told that I didn't error check (I did, with the correct try/catch blocks) and that I cheated and used a library for 'argparse' (I didn't, but the instructions don't say that I can't anyway?). I said this has happened to me before, and not to worry. Then the third person hangs up on me. Thanks?

parse a log file, but the rules are made-up and the points don't matter.
