Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, India
Process
Two technical interviews, one manager interview, one director interview, and one senior director interview. This round totaled 7-8 hours of wasted time. After this, I received an email stating my skills didn't match. If my skills didn't match, you should have rejected me in the first 1-2 rounds. Why have 5 rounds of interviews to waste my time? - 5.0Great Place to WorkSenior Software Engineer • Current EmployeeBengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaApril 26, 2024Pros: Better learning opportunities. Good compensation. Work-life balance. Always ahead in the industry. Not afraid to support initiatives.Cons: Project-Specific Politics Low to average hikes and lots of buttering are needed, based on my one year of experience. Some people have false egos (project-specific) and could treat you like you know nothing. You need to either keep on learning for your career growth by ignoring them, or you could satisfy their egos, which will shrink your confidence.
