I received a direct call from HR at Visa. The interview was scheduled at the Visa Inc. center in Bangalore for a .NET role requiring 8+ years of experience.
A first-round technical interview was conducted by a senior individual. It included questions on data structures, design patterns (to be written down), REST principles, and an SQL query. I managed to answer all questions and received feedback that I had performed well, leading to my progression to the second round.
The second round was with another interviewer who asked basic and ambiguous questions. There were a few data structure questions to write down, along with questions on JavaScript and another SQL query. I managed to answer all of them. After this round, I was informed that I had not cleared it.
Overall, this was a negative experience as I felt they did not seem serious about hiring the right candidate. There was also a long wait from when the interview was scheduled to when it actually took place.
Singly linked list in C#, design patterns, SQL
