I handed in my resume at the career fair. The interviewer messaged me at midnight to schedule a last-minute on-campus interview the next day. I accepted, and after the interview, I was told I would be moving on to the next steps and would receive a HackerRank the following week. A week passed, and I didn't receive the HackerRank, so I messaged the recruiter. She told me to reach out to her if I didn't receive it within the next two weeks. I still didn't receive the HackerRank, so I messaged the recruiter again. I didn't receive a response. I messaged her a third time. No response again. This was highly unprofessional and a waste of my time. Don't reach out to candidates if you intend to ghost them like this.
