Went through a coding round, followed by HR, then a technical interview. HR was really friendly, talking about how excited the team is. The guy who did the technical seemed like he didn’t want to be there from the start. Answered a call in the middle. There would be awkward pauses, so I would try to ask him questions, and instead of responding, he would follow up with something unrelated. He mainly asked questions about my experience. Maybe he didn’t like my responses and gave up on the interview midway or something. Waiting on official rejection, but it’s been a sufficient amount of time to assume they continued with better candidates.
