I was contacted by a recruiter about a HackerRank assessment. The HackerRank wasn't very difficult; it included one easy LeetCode problem and one medium LeetCode problem, but the medium wasn't too bad. I passed all test cases except one or two for the second question.

I was ghosted after this and then contacted a month later by the same recruiter asking if I was still interested in a position, but then ghosted again. This was extremely unprofessional of them.

If they were going to reject me, they should have just quickly done so instead of dragging it out over months.
