The benefit is pretty good. Work-life balance is good.
Individual culture is not respected by others.
Senior management is just focused on politics.
A non-transparent culture where important decisions are communicated within the inner circle.
Transferring between teams is a painful process.
No process is enforced.
Senior management needs to get their minds on to actually achieve something and stop playing politics. Make development effort easier for the developers.
Make the transfer between teams easier so that you can retain the talent. Foster transparent communication from top to bottom and within a team. The product office doesn't want to change to agile because it requires a lot more work, but development requires agile. You can tell this will not work.
