Applications Developer Interview Experience

Process

The interviewer was late.

The coding template they had set up was not working as expected. We had to scramble to find an alternative where we could share screens.

I was asked to code the Fibonacci sequence up to a certain number using JavaScript.

This was followed by questions about how a browser engine works. Because the interviewer was not prepared, everything felt scripted and rushed.

Front End Associate • Former Employee

Marquette, Michigan, United States

Pros: - Decent pay - Flexible scheduling for students - It's easy to make new friends with the many people that work there (though some are not quite as easy to be friends with, I think that's pretty normal everywhere you work)

Cons: - Toxic, dramatic work environment. - Do not expect to be taken seriously by management; had to go over heads to have important stuff taken care of. - Communication between management and associates is subpar.
