An external recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. I applied with a resume, and four interviews were scheduled with the manager, directors, and team members. An assignment was also given.
I went through the whole process. The recruiter kept in touch, saying, "Oh, don't worry, the offer will come soon. It's just taking some time as you're working remotely from Canada and the team sits in the US."
However, the recruiter never got back to me, nor did anyone from the team, even after following up. It was a waste of six hours going through the entire process only to be ghosted.
