Process

One phone screening followed by an in-person interview.

During the face-to-face interview, only JavaScript questions were asked by the first interviewer, and he was not flexible in accepting any answers other than his preconceived ones.

The third interviewer started asking Java (not JavaScript) questions.

Overall, the interview process did not look very promising.

Questions

During a phone interview, basic JavaScript questions were asked. I was asked to write a function that sums up an array of numbers, where the length of the array is not fixed.

I believe the intention was to assess knowledge of the 'arguments' object.

What is the difference between '==' and '===' in JavaScript?

How do you clone an object in JavaScript?

Explain asynchronous operations. If clicking a button initiates two XHR requests, how would you provide a status update when both requests have completed?
