The on-site interview was scheduled through a consultancy. Initially, Walmart HR promised the entire process would take only close to 3 hours.
The first round was a HackerRank written round for 90 minutes.
Then, I was made to wait for close to 4 hours; either the panel was not available or they could not manage efficiently.
Finally, after a lot of follow-up, I was called for the second round, which lasted for just 10 minutes and had one question. It felt like it was just for the sake of it, as they made me wait for such a long time, by when they would have already found their candidates. The role was for a Java plus Spark profile, but there were no questions on Java or Spark. It was just a normal algorithm problem, but the feedback was negative.
Then, HR asked me to follow up with them over the phone and again said it might be positive and I might be called further.
And then, no response until eternity.
