Process
A former boss recruited me.
I went on-site in San Bruno for a couple-hour interview. After speaking to two interviewers, I got the impression they were only interviewing me to placate my old boss.
- One interviewer was 20 minutes late to a 45-minute interview.
- Another didn't even bother to show up.
They made me feel like my time was worthless.

Good fit for some

Pros: Some interesting work.
Will never run out of work to do. Rare to have crushing deadlines, though it varies by team. Big supporter of H1B program.
Cons: Extreme lack of diversity in the workforce (this is a pro for some).
Focus is rarely on the individual's sense of satisfaction. Instead, it is kind of impersonal, with robotic managers.

Pros: Smart people, latest technology. I've worked here many years, and Walmart really invests the time and money to stay current.
You will learn a ton if you work here.
Cons: Benefits changed this year to a mandatory curve. There's a very real chance that even if you perform well and meet your goals, you may not receive your bonus or RSUs. The targets you must meet are not defined and mainly have to do with extra credit, popularity, or Indian nepotism. So, only work here if you have negotiated a good base salary upfront.
