Initial Coding Round: 1 hour (Basic Algorithms, Data Structures)
Final Round: 1 System Design (1 hour), 1 Coding (1 hour), 1 Behavioral (30 minutes)
System Design: Interviewer was knowledgeable. The discussion was interesting and thought-provoking. The interviewer mostly deep-dived on rate limiters and security.
Coding Round: This was a disappointment. The Senior Software Engineer was very bad with algorithms. He was least interested in staying on the interview and was taking 10-minute breaks in between. When he came back, while I was coding, he insisted on changing the code and broke my code. I was suggesting changes to make it work, but he was oblivious. Finally, I made the changes and ran it to show him that it worked!
In the end, we had 5 minutes left, and he asked me to print the top view of a binary tree, for which he went ahead and started explaining the solution. Which was again wrong! Funny interview.
Behavioral Round: This round was good. There were some usual questions.
