A recruiter reached out for me to apply. I was sent a HackerRank assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions and a coding question. This was followed by a Modern Hire assessment with questions relating to how I work in an environment and with a team, basically to gauge my cultural fit.
I received an email for the first 30-minute interview the day after completing the Modern Hire. I was then sent a take-home assignment that I had to complete within 24 hours of my interview.
During the first interview, I was asked to explain my take-home solution, write an SQL query, and answer some follow-up questions about data structures. I sent my take-home solution to the interviewer after the interview.
I was scheduled for a second, one-hour interview the day after the first round. The second round consisted of a 30-minute behavioral interview with a Software Engineer at Walmart and a 30-minute technical question with another interviewer. For the technical portion, I had to code on my IDE and share my screen.
The coding question was LeetCode medium. The timing was tight, and the interviewer expected working code.
I am still in the interview process, as I just completed the second round.
