Pros

Remodeled store, new floor, and rearranged store and departments. Good Associates was promoted to Team Lead.

Cons

Micromanagement, unrealistic goals, inexperienced leadership, and accountability issues. Lack of safety. Associate retention.

Advice to Management

Leadership needs to stop expecting unrealistic goals to be accomplished in 8 hours with no extra pay or overtime, especially with less than minimum staffing.

When those in leadership take ownership of their actions and start providing realistic goals and valuing their associates more, Walmart can start to attract the right people to work and regain the Sam Walton vision of Walmart.
