I spoke with a recruiter for the first round, and then was assigned an incredibly simple take-home test.
The recruiter contacted me and passed along a message from their lead. He proceeded to accuse me of stealing code and chastised me for not including features that weren't included in the directions and scope of the test. He was apparently upset that I didn't code exactly like him in other areas.
I dodged a bullet with this place. They're looking for mind readers, not to mention the insult of accusing me of stealing code when I wrote it all myself.
