March 19, 2014
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview consisted of two rounds of back-to-back Skype interviews, each lasting for 40 minutes.

The first round was focused on Cultural FIT. The second round was purely technical, where I was asked to write code for a palindrome. Other questions were mostly the same as mentioned already on Glassdoor, i.e., basic OOP concepts, interfaces and abstract classes, polymorphism, SQL indexes, joins, SQL injection and prevention, keys, and constraints. The rest of the interview pertained to my projects and work experience, as mentioned on my resume.

Questions

Logic Puzzle: How would you measure exactly 9 minutes using a 4-minute and a 7-minute hourglass?
