Great company to work with. Talented individuals and great managers.
There's plenty of freedom to develop projects, and managers offer great feedback.
The CEO is not transparent at all. During the all-hands meeting, they will always say the company is doing great and that everything is going well, but follow up with sudden layoffs that don't take management input. There is a performance cycle in place, but layoffs don't take that into consideration, as they always happen just before the performance review cycle starts.
Wayfair needs more transparency. If the goal is to cut down costs, people are going to leave. Whether they leave by their own will to another company or are laid off, the savings will be the same.
The interview process was smooth, well-organized, and conducted in a timely manner. It consisted of three rounds: * **Round 1:** Focused on data structures and algorithmic problem-solving, testing core programming skills and logical thinking. *
Code Assessment - 90 mins * 1 behavioral round - 30 mins * 1 Application Design round - focused on LLD. Expectations include object modeling, class diagrams, API design, and SQL queries. * 1 Coding round - Object-oriented code implementation.
The process starts with an OA, then a DSA/Programming round, and then a Design Round. In the Design Round, you have to design schemas, APIs, and class diagrams, and could extend to writing some SQL queries.
