Process

After asking to reschedule the phone screen, I must have broken their AI-driven recruiting process.

When meeting the recruiter, they said it seemed my phone screen went well. This was strange because I hadn’t done a phone screen yet.

The recruiter then stated I had an interview scheduled for the following week. I asked if they could resend the calendar invite as I had not received anything, and was forwarded the invite.

That day came, and nobody showed up on the call. I emailed the recruiter advising them of this and never heard back. Unprofessional.

I will never seriously consider working with Waymo or other Google companies in the future. They seem to have a combination of a superiority complex and entitlement over their employees. Pass!
