I had a typical technical interview. It was basically a slight modification of a LeetCode problem. I got to the ideal and most performant solution, but probably took a little too long and made some small misses along the way. The interviewer seemed intelligent and knew how to conduct a coding interview, which people surprisingly mess up a lot.
My impression is Wealthfront is pretty lean, and learning about their internal processes was pretty interesting. I have interviewed with them twice.
I think they have a good team, and nobody seemed outright unkind. But this time around, I kind of realized that this company is kind of a bubble. While the team was racially and sexually diverse, it felt like I was being interviewed by the same person on every interview I have had with them.
I think if you have the skills and a certain type of personality, this could be a good company to work for.
It was a Leetcode Easy/Medium Problem.
