I received an interview invitation from a consultant. The interview was scheduled after discussions, and two rounds were to happen before HR, as per our discussion.
The first round (technical) happened on Saturday, followed by a techno-managerial round on Sunday.
The Sunday interview was postponed at the last minute because the other candidate for the given slot did not appear.
On Monday, I received a call from HR at 10:30 PM. The HR apologized for calling at an abrupt hour and asked for another managerial round.
When I asked why there was an additional round before HR, as I was told there would be only two rounds before HR, no clear answer was given.
Tuesday evening, I had another 30-minute round scheduled, in which the same questions from round 2 were repeated. I am not sure why.
Simple Java and microservice questions were asked.
