Good compensation, good people, and opportunity.
Annual merit increases were near non-existent. The company was badly siloed, and there wasn't enough work for employees. But of all things, to go totally woke was just too much. Instead of focusing on banking, they veered into political correctness policies that were more harmful than helpful. Businesses should stay focused on their business and out of politics or political policies.
Eliminate political correctness. Actually know the talent you have and efficiently use that talent. Eliminate silos and multiple layers of management and the number of managers. Empower your talent to lead and be initiative.
