Pros

Growing organization particularly in cloud technologies, but no one knows who is doing what. Most of the pressure is on people who are working particularly. B-class management is hiring C-class employees.

Cons

There are too many managers without technical competency. Most of the hiring is through acquaintances, particularly past employees from JPM and AMEX, depending on the location.

There is intentional suppression of old-timers by promoting new employees who are sub-par in excellence or competency. Friends and previous colleagues are hired from non-strategic locations and sometimes receive remote offers, but current employees are considered for promotions.

This is very prevalent across the organization under Joe Rooney.
