Senior Database Administrator
Phone-based, only a couple of technical questions; mostly personality-based questions. Roughly 30 minutes for the interview. Only one person was interviewing. HR was not involved in the process, only the direct hiring manager.
SDE-intern
The interview went well, but I wasn't selected. I'm still wondering why. I had answered almost all the questions nicely. There was one coding question which I had to actually code, and others were viva-type questions.

The hiring team did not check my salary prior to the interview. When I arrived, they said that they were only willing to pay in the first quartile, while my salary was just over midpoint. If they had used the optional HR background check, I would not
