Lack of management; not sure what kind of manager they hired.
I recently switched to the new hired manager. There is disrespect and micromanagement you can't even imagine.
The manager asks team members to report daily status and asks full-time employees to work for 10 hours, sometimes even more, each day.
If you don’t have that proficiency and poor management skills, you should not be a manager.
In every way, you are showing your lack of management skills and unexpectedly unprofessional attitude.
Performance review is a huge joke, even if you worked day and night. After 10 hours a day, you will end up with a performance that's not good. You may think this is quite personal.
Eventually, the proper way may end up with legal process involvement.
