I had a lot of flexibility regarding how and when to do my work. I worked for them exclusively remotely and never went to the office. Everything was fine as long as I kept doing my job and being in all meetings.
Most of my team members were great people and great communicators. A couple of them weren't, but that should be expected from any job.
I rarely received help when it came down to learning new things (frameworks, libraries, BDD).
So, if you cannot learn these things independently, you will have a hard time.
I did not have a knowledge transfer when I joined the company. So, I had to learn a lot of things that are very specific to Wells Fargo on my own.
Ensure that when onboarding a new team member, they get the knowledge transfer and training if necessary.
No phone pre-screen. In-person interview with hiring manager plus speakerphone interview with another manager. Some technical questions with the first one. Mostly situational questions with the second one. One hour total.
Two technical rounds and then the managerial round. The technical rounds were a bit complex but manageable. The managerial round was more focused on real-time problem-solving, questions about stress management, and questions about handling deadlines.
The interview process was very straightforward and seamless. The results came in 2 days, and I was able to join the company quickly. The interview was basic JavaScript and React questions. I would rate it 3 out of 5.
