Many immediate supervisors are pretty relaxed, very hard-working, and helpful.
Teams are a relatable size (4-7 people).
Friendly and helpful colleagues.
Conversion requests from contract to FTE are inefficient and slow, with months of time wasted.
Cross-communication among teams is minimal, which can be problematic.
Some archaic technologies and practices exist.
There's often being stretched thin, working on multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
A lot of red tape to deal with, being a really large bank, means progress is slow.
Improve hiring process. Establish cross-team communication practices.
