No meaningful work, nor work to do.
It’s a bank. You need red tape to do anything. Nepotism. Some 20-year-old kid was given the title of “Principal Engineer” and is leading two dozen people. There are huge technical debts, low standards, poor code quality, and poor product quality. There is a lack of understanding in pretty much every technology they chose to use. The team is very bloated. There are a lot of dead weights and unnecessary meetings. If you are a technical-minded person who is passionate about technology, look elsewhere. Here you will mostly find clueless fresh grads and Indians who are stuck in the green card queue.
Drop the dead weights and bullshitters, and use the money to hire some real talents.
