Pros

Wells Fargo offers great benefits and will match what you contribute to your 401K up to 6%.

It's very easy to balance work and family life because you can always take time off when needed and even WFH for emergency situations (if you have a laptop).

New FT employees receive 18 days of PTO.

The company supports diversity and also encourages everyone to volunteer. You can take time off during the work week for volunteer events.

If you're too stressed or bored with your job, the company supports building your development skills to prepare you for a different position within the company. There are usually plenty of positions to apply for.

Wells Fargo does annual reviews that focus on your performance and also focus on skills that you would like to develop. There are tons of online courses that all employees have access to, so you have the opportunity to learn something new whenever you have downtime.

Cons

People move around the company a lot, so you constantly have to interact with new people on a project who do not have the same level of expertise as the person who was replaced.

There are no bonus opportunities for non-exempt employees. No perks ever.

The office environment is very quiet and boring. (This may only be for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. I used to work at Wells Fargo Bank, and there were actual perks and team outings there).

It doesn't matter how hard or how long you've worked with an application or team; you will never get promoted. You just have to wait for a position to become available online, apply for it, and go through the whole interview process as if you were someone from outside the company.

Advice to Management

Promote employees who work hard and have a lot of experience with a team, instead of forcing them to apply for positions.
