Plenty of new stuff to learn. They seem to switch to new, efficient technologies faster than other heavyweight companies, especially considering their size.
Depending on the team you work in, it can go from easygoing to extremely demanding. Due to differences in timezones, it can be quite uncomfortable many times. Managers mostly seem to leave everything to Leads (in different teams) who run the show as they please. So, your work life depends on what kind of team Lead you get (not what kind of Manager you have).
Time zone differences need to be managed much more efficiently than they are right now.
They need to talk and listen more to their team members to find out how things are going down in the trenches.
I was contacted by the recruiter and scheduled an interview for next week. The interview went for an hour, and I was asked about some basic database queries and behavioral types.
Easy. The manager was very nice and down to earth. There was no "manager speak" or neutering of the key messages he tried to communicate. The manager recommended many sources for reviewing his LOB.
Two-step interview: recruiter call where they go over your resume and skillsets. The second round is a panel interview, which is heavily technical. This spans over two weeks overall. It's a fairly standard process.
