Onsite interview was an open-ended system design type of interview. It all seemed to go well; we talked about my previous experience in system design, and then we designed an internet-based, scalable request-response type synchronous system. It all seemed to make sense to everyone in the interview.
I was under the impression that the interview had gone quite well. However, the next day I received a "no" with no explanation of what went wrong or any useful feedback to improve upon. I was left confused.

Product engineering role was incredibly stressful. You were expected to do everything an engineer does along with everything a product manager does, whilst PMs did nothing. Leadership was terrible. It felt like a cult most of the time, with everybody saying how great the CEO was.
