Okay, work culture, bad promotion and compensation opportunities

The engineering review process has become very subjective, and salary and growth opportunities are much less than at other companies. Wise is still paying heavily under market. Support for junior engineers is definitely not enough, and the mentorship culture is lacking. Support for women in engineering is abysmal from management.
Create much more concrete plans and guidelines around promotional opportunities. It is far too subjective, and it seems like we routinely hire and promote the wrong people.
