The interview process had multiple rounds.

1. A phone screen with HR for general information about the role.
2. A screen with the hiring manager for culture fit and why you're a good fit for the role.
3. An initial technical interview called "How it works."
4. Another pre-emptive technical interview with a basic programming problem.
5. An 'on-site' interview that could be broken up over two days (6-7 hours total).

In the end, I was told I would get an offer from the company verbally. When I followed up, they told me they would be moving that headcount to another country. Ten hours of interviewing, being told I would get an offer, just to have that happen. Sometimes interviewing is the worst.

How Does It Work?

First Programming Question:

Given a list of strings, print out the top three strings found in the list, and add the rest to the list in alphabetical order. Extension: Extend your function to work with N most frequent substrings.
