Frontend Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

The interview experience was positive for me. They try to make the questions as true to the actual day-to-day work of the role as possible. Overall, there were four stages:

  • A phone screen with the engineering manager to chat about the opportunity.
  • A take-home frontend task (~4 hours).
  • A phone interview – code review of the frontend task and one coding question.
  • An onsite interview at the SF office.

The onsite interview was mostly behavioral. They really want to gauge if you would enjoy the role, and it also gets you to meet the entire team!
