Process

  1. I submitted my application on LinkedIn and received a message from the recruiter soon after. We scheduled a call to discuss my background, interests, information about the position, and next steps.

  2. Technical phone interview with Eric, the team manager. Introductions, background, previous projects, followed by a coding question and some follow-up questions.

  3. Another technical phone interview about Object-Oriented Design (OOD). The interviewer provided the requirements, and I needed to come up with a solution using the design pattern I thought was best, then write some code to illustrate my idea.

  4. Virtual onsite with four rounds:

  • One technical interview with two coding questions and a follow-up (no language restriction).
  • Another technical interview with a question using Python.
  • A system design interview.
  • A behavioral question (BQ) interview with the team manager.

Questions

  • N-ary tree/binary tree

  • System design with a context of machine learning (no ML knowledge required)

  • Graph-related questions

  • Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
