We had an initial interview with the hiring manager about previous roles and how I would fit. Then they gave me a task to write. I needed to write a job executor class that would be fair with regards to customers' jobs.
The task did not have a single right solution. So, I wrote one that was working well, to the best of my ability given the specifics of the task. I lost a day working on it, and they didn't even bother to come and analyze it or explain if they didn't like it and what they didn't like. Such a waste of time.
